Obituary for Stephanie Wilson

Stephanie, “Stevie,” Picklesimer Wilson passed away unexpectedly at her home in Berry on January 12, 2021. She was born September 1, 1955 to Frances Marion and Linda Stone Picklesimer, of Lexington.
Stevie is survived by her devoted husband, James Wilson, of Berry, a daughter, Liz Matney, of Lexington, a son, Joseph Pittman, of Paintsville, five grandchildren, Jackson King, Ryan King, Adam Matney, Victoria Pittman, and Alex Pittman. She also leaves, to cherish her memory, two brothers, Francis, “Pete” Picklesimer and Bradley Picklesimer, and one sister, Lizabeth Picklesimer.
Stevie was an exceptional mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a beautiful, generous spirit and a delightful sense of humor. She was a woman of instant, unconditional service to anyone in need. She is mourned and forever missed by those who were lucky enough to know her love or her friendship.
Her family has chosen cremation with burial in the family plot at the Lexington Cemetery. There will be graveside service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Old Friends Farm for retired thoroughbreds, in Georgetown at 1841 Paynes Depot Rd, Georgetown, KY 40324, would be most appreciated.
