Obituary for Stephen Paul Jones
STEPHEN PAUL JONES, age 66, Mt. Olivet, died Thursday, September 12, 2013 at his residence. Born in Cynthiana, August 16, 1947 to the late Paul and Helen Judy Jones, he was a truck driver and a member of Kentontown Christian Church and the Thomas Ware Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Fryman Jones; a son, Steven Michael Jones, Mt. Olivet; a daughter, Dana Jones (Phil) Mitchell, Mt. Olivet; a brother, Larry Wayne Jones and very special sister-in-law, Rita, Mt. Olivet; three grandchildren, Nathan Mitchell, Haley Jones and Taylor Mitchell; a step-granddaughter, Clarinda Burden; two step-great grandchildren, Blanton Isaacs and Willow Burden; a niece, Jenny Courtney and her children, Logan, Grace, Abigail, Emma, Sam and Will and a nephew, Jeff (Marsha) Jones and their children, Lily and Julia.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Kentontown Christian Church by Bro. Ed Applegate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Saturday at Robertson County Funeral Home and 1:00 P.M. Sunday at the church. Burial will be in Kentontown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kentontown Cemetery or American Lung Association.
Pallbearers will be John Arnold, Billy Russell Fooks, Ronnie McConnell, Phillip Messer, Leon Maynard and Kenny Earlywine.
