Obituary for Tex Roger Layne
Tex Roger Layne, age 76, Cynthiana, died Monday, March 20, 2023 at his residence. Born in Pike County on April 16, 1946 to the late Homer and Hollie Williams Layne, he was a truck driver and a United States Marine Vietnam veteran. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Kent Layne.
He is survived by his son, Billy (Cynthia) Layne; four sisters, Linda (Harold) Chandler, Kathy Burke, Sharon (Darrell) Hurley and Deborah Layne; three grandchildren, one great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a special niece, Christie Michelle Dual and a special nephew, Shawn Marion David Layne.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 P.M Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Ware Funeral Home with visitation at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
