Vanessa Dawn Barker, age 59, of Cynthiana, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at UK Medical Center. Born in Harrison County, March 10, 1963, to the late Eugene and Betty Carolyn Haley Barker. Also preceded in death by Corey Crawley.
She is survived by a son, Tyler (Katy) Scott Sumpter; a daughter, Whitney (Derrick Graham) Barker; one brother, Paul Barker; one sister, Melissa Mutsheller; thirteen grandchildren, Timothy C. Abbott, Chris Abbott, Jaydon Abbott, Raelynn (Bella) Graham, Landen Sumpter, Emma Tibbits, Brently Sumpter, Aubree Gardner, Ava Baker, Lilly Baker, Hazley Sumpter, Alijah Sumpter, Andrew Gardner; one great grandchild, Mason Abbott; a niece, Jessica Beagle; great niece, Bailey Hudgens; great nephews; Noah and Isaac Stone; and a special friend, H D Kelly.
A Celebration of Life will be 7:00 P.M. Friday, October 21, 2022 at Leesburg Christian Church, by Pastor Michael Kelly. Visitation hours will be 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., prior to the Celebration of Life. Arrangements are under the direction of Ware Funeral Home.
