Obituary for Virgil David Conley

VIRGIL DAVID CONLEY, age 67, Oakland Road, Brooksville, was called home Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at the Robertson County Health Care Facility in Mt. Olivet. Born in Fleming County, November 15, 1941, to the late Virgil and Bessie Sloas Conley, he was an electrician and former Robertson County magistrate for seventeen years. David was a member of New Corinth Christian Church and Masonic Lodge #291. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Gulley.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Hedges Conley; two sons, Jeffrey David "J.D." (Debbie) Conley, Raleigh North Carolina and Leonard Gayle (Erin) Conley, Bracken County; two daughters, Mia Renee' Sparrow and Mistique "Misti" (Jason) Morgan, both of Robertson County; three brothers, Carl Conley, Roger (Joyce) Conley and Johnny (Glenlyn) Conley, all of Mason County; two sisters, Myrl (Jerry) Cordel and Orella (Bill) Preston, both of Mason County; nine grandchildren, Adam (Shannon) Pittman, Amanda Pittman, Charity Sparrow, Tyler Sparrow, Seth Conley, Emma Conley, Allie Conley, Brennan Conley, Chloe Conley and four great grandchildren, Cole Pittman, Hannah Graves, MacKinzie Pittman and Haylie Sparks.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M.
Saturday with Masonic Services to follow, at the Deming School gymnasium by Bro. Doug Wright and Bro. Dee Whitaker. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. Friday at the gymnasium. Private burial will be in Workman Cemetery, Jett Road in Bracken County. Memorial contributions may be made to Masonic Lodge #291, 1608 Cedar Creek Road, Mt. Olivet, KY 41064. Arrangements are under the direction of the Robertson County Funeral Home.
