Obituary for Wallace K. Stewart

WALLACE K. STEWART, age 90, Mt. Olivet, died Friday, November 14, 2014 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. Born in Robertson County, October 23, 1924 to the late Herbert and Mabel Insko Stewart, he was a farmer, retired State Highway and Robertson County Road Department worker and a member of the Mt. Olivet First Christian Church since 1939. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Farris Stewart; a sister, Emalene Stewart and a son, Johnny Wallace Stewart.

He is survived by his wife of sixty seven years, Anna Bell Stewart; a son, Marvin Glenn (Leslie "Winkie") Stewart, Mt. Olivet; five special nieces and nephews, Mary Stewart, Linda Grigson, Phillip Clay Insko, Farris Z. Stewart, Jr. and William Lawson Stewart; a great niece, Geneva Frieszell; three great nephews, Jonathan Tapp, Andy Stewart and Adam Stewart and a special little boy, Jason Davis.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Doug Wright. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Olivet First Christian Church or one's favorite charity.

Active pallbearers will be Farris W. Stewart, Jr., Andy Stewart, Adam Stewart, Ron Weiter, Hammer Allison, Terry Norris, James Myron Thomas and Sammy Soto. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Tapp, Jess Frieszell, Mike Jones, Stanley Henderson, Pete Curtis, Scott Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Jimmy Staggs, Tom Workman, Wayne Buckler and Wayne Buck.
