Wanda Faye Newman, age 77, passed away Tuesday, August 17th, 2021, at her home. She was born in Mt. Sterling on September 18th, 1943, to the late Stanley “Dock” Stevens & Thelma (Jeff) Stevens Yarnell. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by one son, Steve Hamm; one sister, Edith Newman; & one grandson, Jacob Clay Hamm.
She is survived by three sons, Ronald Hamm, Paul (Monica) Hamm, David Hamm; one daughter, Sharon (Denzel) Boyd; two brothers, Roy (Barbara) Butcher, Jessie (Julie) Yarnell, four sisters, Carolyn (Bobby) Fryman, Linda Yarnell, Lisa (Rick) Miller, Betty Yarnell; several Grandchildren, & Great-Grandchildren.
A funeral will be held on Friday August 20th, 2021, at 4:00 P.M. with a visitation beginning at 2:00 P.M. until the time of service. Burial will be held a later date at the convenience of the family.
