Wilbur Sutton Morris, age 96, passed away April 1, 2021 at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center. He was born in Scott County on August 13, 1924 to the late Frank William and Anna Elizabeth Morrison Morris. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Dianne Morris; one sister, Marjorie Lee Morrison; and one great-grandbaby, Gabriel Welch.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice “Bea” Rawlings Morris; one son, Wilbur (Jerri) Douglas “Doug” Morris; two daughters, Billie (Norman) Marie Morris Spicer, Hillary (Troy) Anne Jenkins; one sister, Barbara (Kenny) Bates; six special grandchildren, Rachel Ann Morris-Fitzgerald, Grover (Lori) L. Welch Jr., Anthony (Camille) T. Welch, Heather (Kelly) Bea Welch, Emily (Shane) Marie Spicer Conaway, Normandee (William) Beth Spicer; ten great-grandchildren, Elijah (Kim) Reffett, Alexis Conaway, Layla Feeback, Karter Feeback, Willow Feeback, Ryan Fitzgerald, Audrey Paige Fitzgerald, Cole Welch, Reid Welch, and Bailey Welch.
A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, April 5th at 11:00 AM at Ware Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 4th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home.
