William Kenneth Batte, age 71, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at UK Medical Center. He was born in Cynthiana, KY on January 17, 1950 to Helen Williams Batte and the late Herbert William Batte. Besides his father he is preceded in death by one grandson, Raymond Kenneth Batte.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Caudill Batte; one son, John Herbert (Bessie) Batte; one daughter, Dorothea Rose “Dottie” (Jason) Perry; one brother, Marvin T (Vikki) Batte; two sisters, Mary Jo (David) Powers, Linda Katherine (Tom) Harney; five grandchildren, Andrea Lynn Batte, Helen Sylvia Batte, Herbert Avear Batte, William Michael Perry, and Jack Elwin Perry
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 19th at 11:00 AM at Claysville Christian Church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18th from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held at the Claysville Christian Church from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
