WILLIAM DARRELL FRENCH, age 53, KY Hwy. 1284 East, Cynthiana, died Sunday, June 14, 2009, at his residence. Born in Harrison County, August 8, 1955, to the late William Keith and Junita Myers (Case) French, he was a farmer and a former Ladish employee of twenty-seven years. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Wayne French and Donald Keith French.

He is survived by his life partner, Vickey French; two sons, Darren (Shanna) French, Harrison County and Adam French, Georgetown; a daughter, Jessica (Jason) Hensley, Harrison County; two brothers, Ray Eugene French, Harrison County and Melvin Myers (Kathy) French, Beaver Creek, Ohio; four sisters, Emma (Wendell) Pratt, Mt. Olivet, Geneva French, Harrison County, Diana (Billy) Beckett, Lexington and Patti (Ricky) Dixon, Harrison County; a granddaughter, Brooklynn Marie French and a future grandson, Jacob Clay Hensley.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Dee Whitaker. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Burial will be in Kentontown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Administration, March of Dimes, Claysville Christian Church, Kentontown Christian Church or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
