William Clifford Lake, age 63, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Boyd Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Ashland, Kentucky. He was born in Harrison County on October 10, 1957 to the late Robert Lee and Louise Garnett Lake. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Stewart Lake; and one niece, Merry Lake.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Ruth Dowd Lake; two stepsons, Travis (Kelly) Green and Jason (Bobbie) Green; one stepdaughter, Jessica Green; two daughters, Jaclyn (Rick) Scalf, and Lauren (William) Yazell; four sisters, Mary (George Fiber) Kravac, Renna Collins, Ann (Bill) Masters, and Jane (Ed) Simpson; one sister-in-law, Sue Lake; several beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many special nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 24th at Ware Funeral Home. Rev. Julie Olt will be officiating the services. Visitation will be held Monday at Ware Funeral Home from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Burial will be held at Robinson Family Cemetery.
