William Carlos McNutt, age 63, passed away Friday, August 20th at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born December 17, 1957 in Maysville, KY. Bill was the son of the late Wayne and Dorothy White and the late William McNutt. Also preceding him in death were grandparents Cliff and Alice Pollitt, Floyd and Rosa White brother Brian White and his mother in law and father in law Robert and Frances Simms. Bill’s family opened Angilo’s Pizza in 1973 and Bill spent many hours there making stromboli’s. Bill was a 1976 graduate of Harrison County High School, Lexington Technology Institute and was an employee of Palmer Engineering. He was a member and Diaconate of Cynthiana Christian Church.
Bill is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Beth Simms McNutt; son, Patrick (Kelsey) McNutt; grandchildren, Grannis and Annabelle McNutt; brothers, Larry White and Jeff (Jenny) White. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Debbie (Rick) Wade; brother-in-law, Doug Simms; nieces, Ashley White and Taylor Wade; nephews, Alec White, Rexton White, Ryan Gruber, Gary Geddings and many cousins.
Visitation will be at Ware Funeral Home Sunday, August 22 from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM with services being performed Dr. Larry Bishop Monday, August 23 at 11:00 at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Doug Simms, Tony Harover, Tim Harover, Alec White, Barry Duckworth and Brian Knapp.
Honorary pallbearers are Rick Wade, Jim Pry and the HCHS class of 1976. Burial will be at Battle Grove Cemtery, In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cynthiana Christian Church.
