William “Willie” Tillett, Jr., Mt. Olivet, age 64, went to be with his Lord unexpectedly, Tuesday, September 13, 2022 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born on November 16, 1957 to the late William D. and Anna Mae Oliver Tillett, he was an avid recycler and kept his mind in shape by doing word searches in his free time. Willie was known for his bright smile and dedication to hard work. He was a member of Piqua United Methodist Church, had eyes that saw the best in people and never lost faith in God. Willie lived his life surrounded by a family who loved him immensely.
He is survived by his siblings, Rodney Tillett, Doug Tillett and his companion, Ruby, Wanda (Rich) Johnson, Danny (Connie) Tillett, Vickie Carrington and her companion, Benny Flack, Sandra (James) Kiskaden, Pamela (Dave) Carrington, Donna (Rory) Darnell and John (Anita) Tillett and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and special friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 26, 2022 at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Bill Henry with visitation at Noon. Burial will be in Shannon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Robertson County Funeral Home towards funeral expenses.
